Weaponizing Victimhood

Weaponizing Victimhood.

How “minorities” assign blame, win power and divide the nation.

You would think no one would want hatred hurled at them because of a group of people they belong to.

But sadly, you would be wrong – some seek it and use it to their political advantage..

Those claiming to be members of an oppressed racial, sexual or economic minority, often magnify or create class hatred. They act in this perverted manner for a simple reason – it works. It engenders pity and sets them up as a morally superior victim of oppression.

With every victim there is a perceived perpetrator. Whatever enemy is painted as perpetrator is destroyed – they become wholly evil – an end the “victim” seeks. In fact, a whole class of people are often cast as perpetrators. While the victim, and his group, is elevated and protected from any scrutiny.

It doesn’t matter if there is any truth to the accusation. The motive and outcome are the same.

Take the Long list of fake hate crimes over the years (insert link to list of fake hate crimes). Just recently, an empire star being demeaned and beaten for being black and gay by Trump supporters, Catholic teen agers in maga hats at a pro life rally accosting and demeaning a native American, A white conservative supreme court nominee raping multiple girls in high school and college.

All baseless lies -repeatedly presented to us as the truth.

In all cases, false accusations aimed at demonizing a person or class of people and elevating the fake “victim” or his group.

When the truth finally comes out, the damage is done and the role of hero and villain is already cast.

This modern political strategy is greatly destructive to our society at large.

It creates animosity between people by dividing them- and does so on purpose.

It sells the narrative not that we are all individuals responsible for our own behavior – but rater members of Waring groups.

White VS Black – Man VS Woman – Straight VS Gay – Republican VS Democrat – Rich Vs Poor.

Everyone is perceived as good or evil – according to the groups they are assigned to – not by their own actions.

It stops honest dialog between folks of different backgrounds. It short circuits any search for the truth. Once a person is cast as evil – because of their group – why would you listen to or trust anything they say?

It destroys the very civil society we require for our freedom and security.

So the next time a scandal emerges – even when every voice has the heroes and villains pegged – please stop and consider the facts you know to be true.

Wait until and accused and accuser have had a full airing of their sides of the story.

Remember that each of us has the capacity for doing good or evil.

And it has nothing to do with our race, sex, political or religious beliefs or how much money we make.
